ABOUT ME:

I’m Victoria, a nerdy harpy with a penchant for gothic fashion. My username is a reference to the world’s first postage stamp. Hit me up for more stamp facts!

Jokes aside, I’ve finally become comfortable with my living situation and career and would like to find someone to spend my days with.

WHAT DO I DO:

I’m a librarian at one of my city’s smaller public libraries. Being in charge of all these old books gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling. And as a librarian, I also work with assorted library software, databases, and so on. It’s a lot harder than most people realize, but I love every second of it!

THE FIRST THING PEOPLE NOTICE ABOUT ME:

Sometimes it’s the wings, but most of the time it’s the elegant goth vibe I try to cultivate for myself. Corsets, black parasols, anything old fashioned and goth… I’m a fan of all of it!

People rarely ask why I dress like this, and I prefer it that way. Despite that, I don’t mind it when people glance at my outfit in public.

FAVORITE BOOKS, MOVIES, SHOWS, MUSIC AND FOOD:

Books: All of them. Books weren’t designed with harpy claws in mind, but that doesn’t stop me! I’ve figured out how to hold them without scratching them.

Movies: Horror and documentaries. If it fits either of these categories, I’m into it. Whether it’s cheesy B-movie horror or some more modern and effective horror, I’m a huge fan!

Shows: I haven’t made much time for regular television lately since I prefer books and movies. If you have any show suggestions, let me know!

Music: Loud metal. I tried listening to classical for a while, but I just couldn’t get into it for some reason.

Food: I love seafood, but I always bring some nuts with me as a snack

SIX THINGS I COULD NEVER DO WITHOUT:

I love my librarian job, and I could never go without the handy bag of nuts I keep in my purse. My wings are definitely handy too. And I’d probably die if I had to go without books, cool goth clothes, or… I guess probably my skeleton. I need all of those to live!
